Vice President, Strategy and Managed Care
Hugh A. Jones serves as vice president of Strategy and Managed Care. He joined CMH in 2020 and focuses on the organization’s strategic direction, managed care programs, and strengthening relationships with physicians and insurers.
Previously, Mr. Jones was senior vice president, chief strategy and development officer for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis, Tennessee. Prior to that position, he served as senior vice president, strategy and system development at Mount Carmel Health System, a member of Trinity Health, in Columbus, Ohio. He also held corporate strategy and development roles with Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health System as well as planning and finance roles in corporate and operational divisions of Kaiser Permanente.
Mr. Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. As an undergraduate program, he studied a year abroad at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan. He also earned a master of business administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and holds a Health Care Management Certificate from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and completed the Global Leadership in Healthcare program at the University of Michigan.
