Program Highlights

We are looking to attract and retain experienced RNs. This program is for EXTERNAL hires only (those who have left greater than one year ago) and will not apply to intercompany transfers.

The intent of this program is to obtain and retain new Emergency Department FT RN and RPT RN team members assigned to and working on all shifts excluding 7am-7pm.  This program's Commitment Bonus terms remain in effect when the RN's work history reflects a commitment in hours worked, shifts worked, and performance history.  Changes affecting the intent of this program (conversion to per diem, changes in hours worked, transfer to another department, documented performance challenges, on-leave status and other factors affecting the ability to keep this commitment) will alter the amount of Commitment Bonus, eligibility to receive this Bonus, and may require a prorated pay back of the bonus. Recipients will be expected to sign an agreement to be paid.

Experienced RNs  - 2 or more years' relevant experience in the Emergency Department.

Commitment Bonus:

  • FT (36 hours) RNs (all shifts excluding 7a-7p) - $8,000 over 2 years (subject to tax)
  • RPT (24 hours) RNs (all shifts excluding 7a-7p) - $8,000 over 2 years (subject to tax)
Disbursement will occur with the signed agreement and if your experience is what you represented it to be during the hiring process.  It will be paid based on the following schedule:
  • $1,600-completion of 30 days
  • $1600-completion of 6 months
  • $1600-completion of 12 months
  • $1600-completion of 18 months
  • $1600-completion of 24 months

In addition to meeting the experience criteria the following criteria would apply:

  • In good standing at time of disbursement (no discipline or PIP), between meets and exceeds expectations on the annual performance review.

Disbursements would be generated from HR.
