Central Maine Medical Center’s Family Medicine Residency recognized six third-year family medicine residents at their recent graduation program on Friday, June 29, 2018. Donald “Raj” Woolever, MD, Program Director, gave the welcome address with Deborah Taylor, PhD, serving as graduation mistress of ceremonies. In attendance were Family Medicine Residency faculty, residents and residency staff, hospital and office based CMMC physician teachers, family doctors who serve in the Family Medicine Center as preceptors for residents and medical students, as well as graduating residents’ families and special invited guests.
David Tupponce, MD, Executive VP CMHC and President of CMMC, was invited to speak on behalf of the CMMG Administration.

Bruce Johnson Award – John Lowery, DO, PhD. The Dr. Bruce Johnson Residency Teacher of the Year Award honors the physician who, as voted by the graduating senior residents, made the most outstanding contribution to their Family Medicine Residency education.
