It is a field that has rapidly advanced over the past 20 years. In many cases, these advancements have provided curative therapies for numerous arrhythmias and in doing so can make a significant difference in a patient’s life,” Kolasa explained of his chosen speciality.
Kolasa comes to CMHVI from David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in California where he served as Department Chief of the Heart Lung, and Vascular Center.
“I enjoy taking care of patients one by one but also through involvement in a healthcare delivery system that can impact the care of many,” said Kolasa of his role as a Cardiac Electrophysiologist. “I enjoy delivering patient-centered care and treat patients like I would like my own family and loved ones taken care of.”
Kolasa sees patients at Central Maine Heart Associates (CMHA) and is currently accepting new patients. Central Maine Heart Associates, part of Central Maine Healthcare, is located at 60 High Street in Lewiston and can be reached by calling 207-753-3900.
