Exposure? Symptoms? Steps You Should Follow

The following will help guide you through various scenarios and what to do if you are experiencing symptoms, recently traveled or have been exposed to COVID-19.

If a team member enters an incorrect response in the Survyio screening survey and does not have symptoms or an exposure:

  • Proceed to work as scheduled
  • Go through the paper screening process with the screeners at the appropriate entry point
  • You do not need to call Occupational Health

Symptoms/Travel:

If a team member is exhibiting symptoms and is supposed to be reporting to work:

  • Complete the Survyio screening questionnaire and answer the questions appropriately.
  • Contact Occupational Health using the appropriate phone number for your location and follow their instructions
    • Occupational Health Lewiston: 207-795-2830, Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4pm
    • Occupational Health Bridgton: 207-647-6081, Monday-Wednesday, 7:30am – 4pm
    • Occupational Health Rumford: 207-369-1161, Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4pm
    • After hours for all three sites: 207-577-6494

If a team member is exhibiting other symptoms, include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea:

  • Complete the Survyio screening questionnaire and answer the questions appropriately.
  • Call your supervisor to let them know you will not be reporting to work.
  • Stay home from work until symptoms have been resolved for 24 hours.
  • You do not need to call Occupational Health.

If a team member is exhibiting symptoms and is on vacation/Choice Time or off of work:

  • Contact your PCP/Family physician, Urgent Care or ED

If the team member is returning from out-of-state travel:

  • Contact Occupational Health using the appropriate phone number for your location and follow their instructions
    • Occupational Health Lewiston: 207-795-2830, Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4pm
    • Occupational Health Bridgton: 207-647-6081, Monday-Wednesday, 7:30am – 4pm
    • Occupational Health Rumford: 207-369-1161, Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 4pm
    • After hours for all three sites: 207-577-6494

Exposures:

If the team member thinks they were exposed but has no symptoms:

  • Complete the Survyio screening questionnaire and answer the questions appropriately.
  • Contact Infection Prevention number for your location and follow their instructions
    • Infection Prevention CMMC #s: 207-795 – 2892, 2898, 2899 or 2967
    • CMMC Pager: 207-851-8612
    • Infection Prevention Rumford: 207-369–1075
    • Infection Prevention Bridgton: 207-647 – 6054
    • Regions Pager: 207-851-0080

If the team member thinks they were exposed and has symptoms:

  • Complete the Survyio screening questionnaire and answer the questions appropriately.
  • Contact for your location and follow their instructions

Testing:

Team Member COVID Testing

  • Team Member COVID testing is available at 287 Main Street Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am – 2 pm.
  • Team Member COVID Testing is available in the ED from 7 am -10 am daily. That testing is by order from Occupational Health or Infection Prevention. During business hours you may call Occupational Health or Infection Prevention to determine the need for a test. The order will be faxed to the ED. After hours, weekend and holidays, you will need to call the Occupational Health on call number (207-577-6494). If it is determined a COVID test is needed, the nursing supervisor has that order and will fax it to the ED.
