Family Health Associates specializes in family medicine for people of all ages. As primary care providers, the group focuses not only on treating illness, but also on helping people maintain their physical, social, and emotional well being. The practice supports an on-site bone density scan machine to screen patients for bone loss. The practice also offers the services of a dietitian-certified diabetic educator who counsels individuals on improving their health status through diet management, addressing such problems as diabetes, high cholesterol and obesity. Family Health Care Asssociates also offers special services, such as osteopathic manipulation and intrauterine device insertion. Our practice has been recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance for diabetes management.
