Arbor House – Since 1993, thousands of patients and their families have stayed at the Arbor House during some of the most challenging times of their lives. Built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when you are focused on helping a family member get well, the hospitality house provides a safe place to stay, prepare meals and recharge while keeping close to a hospitalized loved one throughout their treatment. Cancer Care – With a team of highly skilled professionals, the Cancer Care Center at CMMC coordinates treatment and support services for patients coping with cancer. The Cancer Care Immediate Needs fund assists all cancer patients who require temporary, emergent financial support to minimize the stressors when they are unable to pay for life-saving medications or other services related to cancer treatment. Cardiac Care Program – Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute (CMHVI) is a comprehensive cardiac care center that includes prevention, outreach, diagnostics, and procedures to ensure that you and your family stay heart-healthy. Our state-of-the-art facilities, expert staff, and cutting-edge technology make us the go-to choice for fighting heart disease in central and western Maine. Donations to the Cardiac Care Program benefit patient services.
Circle of Gratitude – We understand that expressing gratitude is an important part of the healing process. That’s why we offer of Circle of Gratitude program to our grateful patients and their family members. With this program, you can say thank you to the physicians, nurses, and other staff members who provided you or your loved one with compassionate care. You can also share your story and let us know how our team of caregivers positively impacted you. And if you want to give back, you can make a gift to support the CMMC Grateful Patient Fund.
Comfort Care/Palliative Care – At CMMC, we understand that patients facing an advanced illness require specialized care and support. That’s why we’ve established the Comfort Care/Palliative Care Fund, which is dedicated to providing patients and families with access to the comforts and services they need to improve their quality of life. Whether it’s providing emotional support, pain management, or spiritual care, our team of compassionate caregivers is here to help.
Compassionate Care Fund for Trauma Support – As the regional trauma center for central Maine, we understand the importance of providing support in times of crisis. We established this fund in October, 2023 after the tragic mass shooting in Lewiston in order to provide necessary resources for trauma response and support, such as emotional and behavioral health services for first line responders and the community and trauma care for patients without the ability to pay.
Women and Children Services – At CMMC, we understand that the health and wellbeing of children and mothers are of utmost importance. That’s why we have dedicated programs like Pediatric Care and Special Delivery Family Birthing Center to cater to their unique needs.
