Notice of Transition to Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System
We are pleased to inform you that Central Maine has transitioned to the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This upgrade is part of our commitment to enhancing the quality, efficiency, and coordination of care for our patients.
Key Information for Patients

Our transition to Epic is currently underway. During this period, some processes may change as we implement the new system. - Access to Existing Patient Portal Data
Your historical health information from our previous EMR system will continue to be available through the MyHealth patient portal. You can still log in to MyHealth to view past records, lab results, and documents. - New Epic MyChart Account Required
After your first visit in our new Epic system, you will need to create a MyChart account, Epic’s patient portal, to access your ongoing medical information.
MyChart will allow you to:- View test results and visit summaries
- Communicate with your care team
- Manage appointments
- Access billing information
- Important Reminder
MyHealth and MyChart are separate systems.- Continue to use MyHealth for your past records.
- Use MyChart for all new health information moving forward.
Next Steps
After your initial visit in the new system, you will receive instructions on how to securely set up your MyChart account. Our staff will be available to assist you if needed.
