Trevor’s Story
Trevor was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018 at the age of 41. The father of two young girls remembers that he and his wife were in total shock at the diagnosis because, other than fatigue, he had no symptoms that might indicate he had cancer.
After surgery and four rounds of chemotherapy, Trevor learned that the cancer had spread to his liver, which is what brought him to Dr. Lisa Rutstein. The couple consulted with her at the Topsham Care Center and were grateful that their number one choice for a surgical oncologist was less than an hour drive from home.
