When you need rehabilitation after an injury, illness or surgical procedure, you want to know that quality care is available close to home. You can feel peace of mind knowing that Central Maine Healthcare offers rehabilitation services that meet and exceed nationally recognized quality standards and best practices.
CMH maintains accreditation from CARF International for medical rehabilitation services. CARF is an independent, nonprofit accreditor for healthcare practices and programs. Accreditation means that our processes and procedures, along with our outcomes, have been thoroughly reviewed both internally by our CMH team and by an external team of expert practitioners selected by CARF.
Our drive for constant improvement is evident in our quality measures. Approximately 80% of our rehabilitation patients are discharged directly back to the community following the completion of their rehab program. That speaks to the quality of care, as well as the thorough approach our providers take to identifying and implementing individualized care plans for each patient.
