Lifeflight Program

Rumford Hospital works closely with the area’s ambulance service to provide critical medical assistance as quickly as possible. In addition, LifeFlight of Maine provides helicopter trauma service to our campus, allowing for rapid transfer of critically ill or injured patients to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston or other regional referral centers.
