Grateful Patients and Families Program
“I would like to express my absolute gratitude to the amazing people who work in the Lariviere Infusion Suite. Their compassion is inspiring and contagious. I felt it every time I was there for my treatments! Thank you.” – grateful patient
“I am very, very grateful from the bottom of my heart for all the comfort and kindness the Arbor House provided while I was undergoing radiation treatment – 5 days a week for 7 weeks. With over an hour’s drive to home, being able to stay at the Arbor House made my recovery easier.” – grateful patient
For many Central Maine Healthcare patients, and their family members, being able to express gratitude for the compassionate care they received from our team of physicians, nurses and specialists is a natural step in the healing process. Studies have proven that expressing gratitude has a positive impact on well-being, often times it completes the circle of care.
We recognize the importance of “giving back” and our Circle of Gratitude program offers more than one way to express your gratitude.
Say Thank You
Send a Thank You message to your physician, nurse or other staff members and share your gratitude for the care you or a family member received as a patient. Our caregivers are grateful in return for your messages. Being acknowledged for providing exceptional care helps them recognize the impact they have on individuals and families in the communities we serve.
Share Your Story
We invite you to share your thoughts on how your personal interactions with our team of caregivers have impacted you positively. Your positive patient experience inspires us in our work and can encourage and inspire other patients and their families.
Give a Gift
Circle of Gratitude gifts support Central Maine Medical Center, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. All gifts help ensure Central Maine Healthcare will continue providing exceptional care to our unique part of Maine for years to come.
Central Maine Healthcare’s Office of Philanthropy shares all thank you messages with our caregivers. We are proud to share your story (we do not share your name). However, if you prefer that your story not be shared on a public platform, please contact us at 207-795-2685, or email giving@cmhc.org.
