What We Offer Our Community
Obstetrics and Maternity Care
For expectant patients planning to have their babies at Rumford Hospital, in response to a temporary gap in team member coverage at Rumford Hospital, Central Maine Healthcare will be diverting any obstetrical patients from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on August 1, 2022. Any patients with an emergent need will be assessed and treated onsite or transported to Central Maine Medical Center or the facility of their choice.
We’re here for your building-a-family journey. From conception through birth, we offer quality care from our doctors, midwives, and nurses. After your baby is born, we’re there to make sure you feel supported and have everything you need to start off your parenting journey on the right foot. Bladder Control Care
Urinary incontinence is a common problem, but luckily, it’s also treatable. Our bladder health services address all the different issues that women typically have, helping you to get back to enjoying a good quality of life again. We offer everything from preventative health screenings to diagnosis and treatment for more complicated issues. We want you to be healthy and strong throughout your lifespan. Find out more about how we do gynecological care differently by visiting our information page here. You can also learn about our menopause support services here.
To ensure that your breast tissue is healthy, we recommend that you come in for regular screenings once you’re 40. We offer mammography to assist with breast cancer detection and can support you in whatever you might need in the rare event that cancer is detected. We also offer access to the Maine Breast and Cervical Program (MBCHP) to ensure that everyone has access to our screening services, regardless of their ability to pay.
