Katrina Sink, M.D. has joined the staff at Naples Family Practice located at 410 Roosevelt Trail in Naples.
Sink attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She earned her medical degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan
She completed her family medicine residency and a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine through Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sink is board certified in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine.
Though she sees patients of all ages, Sink has additional experience and interest in geriatric, hospice, and palliative care. She enjoys guiding patients on their journey from cure-directed treatment to comfort-directed treatment.
“I am open minded and consider my patients as an entire person. Listening to and understanding my patients’ personal beliefs and preferences for their care help me work with them to decide on the best treatments for illnesses. I also try to explain things in an understandable way to create a personalized and shared decision-making process for each patient,” said Sink of her care philosophy.
