Come in for Weight Loss. Come out with Wellness.
Struggling with your weight and related medical problems? We know how frustrating that can feel – especially when traditional programs haven’t delivered the results you need to transform your health and desired quality of life.
Bariatric Surgery – we may be just the solution for you. Our board-certified surgeons perform safe and proven weight-loss procedures, using the latest, least invasive techniques. From your first visit through ongoing follow-up care, we provide the support you need to achieve your weight loss goals.
Of course, it’s not just about what you lose, there’s also so much to gain including relief from hypertension, diabetes, joint pain, improved sleep, more energy, renewed confidence, and the freedom to live a life you love.
Everything You Need to Succeed
We’ve helped thousands of men and women throughout central and western Maine find life-changing success and we can do the same for you. Our center is MBSAQIP Accredited, has Anthem Blue Distinctions, is an Aetna Center of Excellence, and a Harvard Pilgrim Center of Excellence.
Skill and Experience
If you’re a candidate for weight-loss surgery, rest assured you’re in highly skilled hands. Our care doesn’t end with surgery: we’re here to support (and celebrate!) your lifelong commitment to health.
Minimally Invasive Techniques
Our surgeons are trained in newer laparoscopic options, requiring just a few small incisions. For you, that may mean less pain, fewer complications and faster recovery, so you can get started right away on your goals.
Care for the Whole You
At every step, you’ll have a specially trained team of weight loss experts by your side; all committed to your total well-being. Your program will be personalized to you from your first visit through post procedure follow-up care. You’ll have guidance through each step along the way by our dedicated bariatric nurse coordinator.
Life after surgery can be a challenge, both physically and emotionally, as you commit to a whole new way of life. Our after-care program includes continued dietary and lifestyle counseling, plus support groups to help you stay on track.
Support groups are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 6p-7p in the Bariatric Surgery Education Classroom. Support groups are open to pre and post operative patients.
