Katharine McNutt, F.N.P. has joined the staff at Twin Pines Family Medicine located in Oakland.
McNutt received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT and Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy with a Concentration in Children from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. She received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Track from the University of Southern Maine in Portland, ME.
She completed her clinical experiences at Midcoast Primary Care Center in Brunswick, Midcoast Center for Diabetes and Endocrinology in Brunswick, Southern Maine Healthcare Center (pediatrics) in Biddeford, Maine Medical Partners in Portland, Maine General Express Care in Augusta and Waterville, and Cote Family Practice in Waterville. McNutt is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Maine Nurse Practitioner Association.
“I like to help people improve their quality of life and work with my patients on the concerns that are most important to them,” said McNutt of her healthcare philosophy. She chose to practice Family Medicine because of the diversity of patients and the focus on “preventive care to help people feel their best and work to avoid issues in the future.”
McNutt practices at Twin Pines Family Medicine in collaboration with Eric Caccamo, D.O., Rachel Pracher, P.A.-C., Cora Reny, F.N.P., and Kassie Reutlinger, P.A.-C.
