Where I see patients
I come from a smaller town in Utah, and after moving to Las Vegas for medical school, returning to a smaller city was something I greatly looked forward too. Living here in Maine and enjoying the small-town feel has been a great part of adapting to the state. Having the ocean close by and being able to enjoy the forests have been amazing. There are so many outdoor activities to do nearby there’s never a reason to be bored. I have a strong desire to end up working in a smaller town post residency, so being at a program that allowed me to have a well-rounded education was essential. I wanted a residency program that could provide both the inpatient and outpatient knowledge to ensure I was a competent well-rounded physician.
