Seamless, Coordinated Care
Following initial diagnosis and treatment in the Emergency Department, orthopaedic trauma patients who undergo surgery are frequently transferred to the OICM unit, where they’ll receive our unique Core Connect Care ℠ team approach to care from specialized orthopaedic physicians, nurses, case managers and social workers. That also includes work with our physical therapists, who design custom orthopaedic rehabilitation programs to help ensure a smooth recovery and return to maximum function.
